Where It All Began
Choir, brass, percussion, marching band, and ROTC — then the decks, the radio, the road, and home to Reno.
Early Music
Music started long before the decks. He sang in his church choir beginning at age 5, and in school band started on brass — trumpet, baritone, and tuba — before moving to percussion. Marching band and ROTC Drum and Bugle Corps locked in timing and discipline; high school choir rounded out the voice. That foundation still shapes every set.
First Gigs
Cut his teeth DJing at Roller Kingdom skating rink in Sparks, NV on Denon DN-2000 CD players and Technics 1200s. Landed his first wedding at just 16 working for Perfect Events. Those early nights taught him how to read any room — from kids on skates to celebrating families.
Radio Roots
Stepped into radio in 2001 on WILD 93.7FM, which later became Wild 102.9FM in Reno. In 2003 he founded the Kronikly Late business. From 2009 to 2018 he held down the airwaves at ROCK 104.5 KDOT-FM — nearly a decade connecting listeners through music.
The Road & Return
Took the sound on the road to Vegas, Phoenix, and Evansville. Eventually came back to Reno, building residencies and continuing to deliver high-energy nights and personal celebrations that keep every generation on the floor.
